Dubai 2011: Esterline CMC Electronics in Canada deal

Esterline CMC Electronics was selected recently by the Canadian Department of National Defence (DND) to supply its latest generation CMA-9000 flight management system (FMS) and CMA-5024 global positioning system wide area augmentation system (GPS WAAS) sensor.

These will be used for the avionics upgrade of DND’s Airbus A310 fleet of five multi-role transport and tanker aircraft (MRTT).

CMC also recently certified its FMS on the Sukhoi Superjet 100.
