Paris Airshow: Honeywell completes first transatlantic flight using bio fuels

The company's Green Jet Fuel was 50% mix with standard jet fuel for the flight from Morristown in New Jersey to Le Bourget.
The flight took five and a half hours.
Jim Rekoske, vice president renewable energy and chemicals, and who heads the Honeywell Green Fuel project was on the flight and said it had saved more than five tonnes of carbon emissions by using the new fuel.
A transatlantic flight using a 10% mix of Honeywell Green Jet fuel will take place in the next 24 hours powering a Boeing 747-800 freighter from Washington to Le Bourget.
The flight was made on a Gulfstream G450.
