IMAGE: DubaiSat 2 snaps Dubai Airport from space
DubaiSat-2 developed by Emirates Institution of Advanced Science and Technology (EIAST) has captured an image of the Dubai International airport from outer space.
The satellite is designed to provide images with higher quality electro-optical imagery of several institutions, inside and outside of the UAE, which can be used for various applications like urban planning, disaster management and scientific research.
The shot of the airport demonstrates the high quality of the one metre resolution.
