To Dhaka with love - Valentine's Day launch for flydubai

flydubai’s announcement of the service to Dhaka means passengers will now be able to select direct low cost flights from Dubai to two of Bangladesh’s most important cities.
Ghaith Al Ghaith, CEO, flydubai, said: “2010 was a hugely eventful and significant year for flydubai, and was capped off by the announcement of our service to Chittagong, which will commence on January 17. I am very pleased that the addition of Dhaka to our route network is our first announcement of 2011 – a year that is set to be even busier than 2010.
“There is a large Bangladeshi population living and working in the UAE, and I’m confident that the addition of flydubai’s flights to the capital will be popular with this community, as it will provide opportunities for them to travel home more often.
”

The country also sits on the confluence of the Brahmaputra, Ganges and Meghna rivers, with immensely fertile land, making agriculture the largest sector of the country’s economy.
