Kuwait buys S-76 helicopter for medical emergencies
Kuwait International Aircraft Leasing (KIAL) has taken delivery of a S-76D helicopter from Sikorsky.
The multi-purpose helicopter will be configured for helicopter emergency medical services (HEMS) the US company said.
This is the first Sikorsky product ordered by KIAL and is the first S-76D to be used in a HEMS role in the region although the type has proved effective in other parts of the world.
