Abu Dhabi Aviation to distribute Aeromot in region

Abu Dhabi Aviation will market the motorised gliders in the Middle East and the Far East with the exception of China and Japan.

The company revealed that the a UAE governmental agency is already in the advanced negotiation stages for the purchase of two Aeromots.

It expects to take delivery of its AMT 200S – Super Ximango ‘S’ demonstrator later this year.

Al Tariq Al Ameri, Abu Dhabi Aviation’s Powered Glider project manager said:  “The aircraft appeals to a broad segment of the aviation market. The Aeromot series of aircraft are certified by civil aviation authorities around the world and many of these gliders are in use by both recreational and governmental agencies. The UAE's General Civil Aviation Authority allows civil certification for private use.”
