Dates set for next Middle East Aircraft Interiors show

In addition to exhibitors showcasing the latest in cabin design and fittings, as well as technological innovations, the show will feature workshops for industry professionals.
Michele Van Akelijen, Event Director at F&E Aerospace, said: “As air travel recovers over the next couple of years, airlines will be reviewing their fleet with a view to increasing capacity, as well as upgrading their existing fleet with the latest designs and technology in order to keep competitive and attractive to customers.
“AIME will aid airline decision-makers in their preparation for completions with regard to cabin interiors, galley equipment and inflight entertainment."
Last month, IATA revised its 2010 industry outlook and is now projecting a profit of $8.9 billion (up from the $2.5 billion forecast in June).
Order books were rapidly filled up over the two days of the last AIME show in February 2010 at Dubai’s Airport Expo.
Oman Air signed a contract with UAE-based Spatial Composite Solutions for two cabin evacuation trainers; Air Arabia signed a seven-year contract with Botany Weaving of Ireland for seat fabric, curtains and carpeting; and Arabia Jets of Saudi Arabia signed a contract with French aircraft livery designer Happy Design Studio to offer their clients customised liveries and visual identity.
