US Government paves the way for Texan trainers to Iraq

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) agreed the approvals on Tuesday following a request from the Iraqi government.
The $790million request included associated equipment, parts, training and logistical support.
Iraq has also requested ALE-47 counter-measure dispensing systems and/or spare AAR-47 missile launch detection systems, non-SAASM global positioning systems with CMA-4124, spare and repair parts, maintenance, support equipment, publications and technical documentation, tanker support, ferry services, personnel training and training equipment.
