Tunisair becomes first to implement Lufthansa ICP system

The German IT consultants said today that this solution will enable the Tunisian airline to coordinate all of its network and revenue management processes. Specifically, the airline has opted to implement NetLine/Market, a core component of the ICP. With this market analysis solution, Tunisair can identify market developments early and respond to them with flexible sales and capacity measures.
Tunisair is already using the NetLine/Plan and NetLine/Sched flight planning solutions, which are also part of the ICP. The carrier benefits from the interfaces between these solutions, which make it possible to automatically process market analysis information for flight planning, giving the airline a significant competitive edge, Lufthansa said.
The Integrated Commercial Platform provides a comprehensive overview of the information relevant to commercial planning and gives airlines a solid foundation of data for managing their business, enabling airlines to react more quickly and flexibly. Additionally, Tunisair has opted for the Web Portal of the ICP, which provides structured information on fares, yields and market share from a variety of sources.
“Analyzing and evaluating booking data is an essential part of monitoring the market. NetLine/Market will give us solid information for determining our own market position. The Integrated Commercial Platform is the basis for an optimal network, sales and marketing strategy,” explained Ali Miaoui, vice president commercial affairs at Tunisair.
Tunisair is also using other Lufthansa Systems products, including ProfitLine/Yield Rembrandt for revenue management, NetLine/Ops for operations control, NetLine/Crew for crew planning, Lido/Flight for flight planning and Lido/FMS navigation data.
