Silver Air adds 737 to its fleet

A6-FAY, a Boeing 737-300, has joined the fleet and has been put to immediate work on the company’s existing contracts between Dubai and Iraq, freeing up aircraft for other opportunities. FAY, as the new aircraft is known in Silver Air, has 148 seats, making it the largest capacity aircraft in the current fleet.
“We’re delighted to have this increase in capacity, in time for the summer”, Steffen Harpoth, Silver Air’s CEO said today. “We’ve needed an extra aircraft for quite a while now, and getting the right one was very important to us. Service to our customers comes high on Silver Air’s agenda, and we are confident that FAY will more than meet our customers’ expectations.”
Tim Lee, Commercial Director, added “this is the next stage in our fleet expansion plans. We have been very pleased with our progress so far, but FAY represents the start of a new wave of expansion at Silver Air, as we grow to meet the needs of more and more clients”.
