Flydubai is welcome at Doha Qatar says

In interviews earlier this year Al Baker was quoted as saying he would launch his own low cost carrier within 90 days if an LCC came to his backyard.

But at today's Doha Aviation Summit  Al Baker said he had been misquoted. "What I said, was that the day that a low cost carrier starts biting away at my business and my margins then we would fight back to protect them, and that could include launching our own, At the moment nobody is hurting us and so I welcome any carrier coming to Qatar."
