TATV Spotlight: SAEI broadens its MRO offer

Saudia Aerospace Engineering Industries (SAEI) is broadening its role as the centre of expertise for maintenance and engineering in Saudi Arabia and was at the MEBAA business aviation show to extend its offering in the sector.

A key agreement at the show were partnerships with the Kingdom’s rotary wing specialist The Helicopter Company (THC) and Airbus Helicopters.

Capt. Fahd Cynndy, SAEI’s chief executive and The Helicopter Company’s CEO,   Capt. Arnaud Martinez, join Alan Peaford to talk about how the proposed plans would include new hangars and partnership opportunities with leading OEMs to meet THC’s ambitious growth plans which will see deliveries of new helicopters at the rate of two a month.

“The timing of this alliance is optimal as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is entering a period in which rotorcraft usage is expected to increase significantly in terms of volume and the range applications across both public and private sectors,” says Cynndy.
