Hamdi has now replaced Elyes Mnakbi.

The national airline saw its passenger traffic and its turnover fall by approximately 75% during the first three quarters of 2020. A restructuring plan had been announced by the Tunisian authorities last year, including a recapitalisation and layoffs.

The airlines describes Hamdi as a global expert in capital project strategy.

She is an American-trained engineer, inventor, and Silicon Valley entrepreneur-Founder and CEO of Concord Project Technologies.
