Ethiopian Airlines CEO selected as one of the 100 most influential people in Africa

A statement by the airline said: “ On behalf of the entire 17,000 employees of Ethiopian Airlines Group, we would like to Congratulate our Group CEO for being selected as one of the 100 most influential people in Africa for the second time.

 

“As employees of the airline group, it is a special privilege for all of us to be led by a globally recognised and renowned leader in the last decade who has been showered with so many awards and accolades.

 

“In his 10 years as GCEO of the airline group, we have witnessed not only fourfold of growth in all measurements, but he has led the airline to successfully manage many existential global crises including the unprecedented crisis of the global pandemic of COVID-19.”
