Nine times UK aerobatic champion, Mark will perform spectacular manoeuvres, tumbles and spins high above the show site this week.

A pilot since 1980, he has flown more than 130 different types of aircraft from microlights to Hawker Hunter and Hawk jets. He started performing at air displays in 1984, and has flown all over the world.

While at the show, he has invited fellow Extra 300 owner Crown Prince of Bahrain His Highness Sheikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa for a spin, and said: “I’d like to have a go in one of his Abarth cars around the race track, too.”

Sheikh Salman is honorary president of the Bahrain Motor Federation and in 2004 opened the Bahrain International Circuit, which hosts the annual Bahrain Grand Prix, a round of the FIA Formula One World Championship.
