New chairman for Etihad Aviation Group board

The Etihad Aviation group has a new chairman. Mohammed Ali Mohammed Al Shorafa was named as the new head of the global aviation and travel group by Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.

Al Shorafa has held a number of government appointments. He is chairman of Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, chairman of the board at ADX, a Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, and chairman of Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development.
There was also a new director named.
Elena Sorlini has been appointed to the board of the company joining Hisham Khalid Malak, Masood Mohammad Mahmood, Jasim Husain Thabet, Mansour Mohamed Al-Mulla and Jacob Kalkman.
