SGS has a very ambitious vision of providing an end-to-end mobility ecosystem that caters for each customers' specific needs and requirements. This transformational journey has multiple layers and tracks of implementation, with the IT and technology infrastructure being at the heart of overall operations.

“SGS is the driving force behind the efficient and safe ground handling of over 96% of all aircraft and passenger operations across Saudi Arabia, and in order to further enhance the delivery and reliability of our services, we are focusing today on creating an agile, secure, and cost-effective IT infrastructure,” said Raed Al-Idrissi, acting CEO at SGS.

Under this initiative, SGS will migrate its core IT systems to Oracle Cloud to drive high performance, ensure continuous availability of all systems, and access latest security systems to support the mission critical operations of the company.

“OCI is built for enterprises looking for higher performance, lower costs, and easier cloud migration for their existing on-premises applications. SGS is truly at the heart of the Kingdom’s aviation industry, and we are delighted to support SGS in delivering critical aviation services in Saudi Arabia,” said Fahad Al Turief, country leader – Saudi Arabia, Oracle.
