Soisa currently provides upholstery and assembly services for over 100 airlines worldwide and partners with all major seat OEMs from its base in Chihuahua, Mexico.  Its expansion into Dubai will include a capacity of approximately ten shipsets per month and will serve clients in the Middle East, North Africa, Europe and Asia.

Soisa’s nearshoring strategy will directly benefit customers such as Etihad, Emirates and FlyDubai with improved logistics, minimal lead times for materials, reduced turn-around-times and cost efficiencies, all of which will be underpinned by Soisa’s customer service.

Jacobo Mesta, CEO of Soisa, said: “We are committed to partnering with our customers to speed their products to market.  Our industry expertise has been gained over many successful years in Mexico, and by leveraging our robust quality systems, innovations and advanced lamination equipment, we are able to offer our customers the best possible solutions.

“Enabling our customers to meet their operational needs efficiently is paramount for us and we pride ourselves on delivering flexible and innovative solutions to the aircraft interiors’ market. We are also grateful to our customers, especially Emirates, FlyDubai and Etihad, for all their support during our transfer to Dubai.”

This expansion has helped Soisa release capacity in Chihuahua for new future projects with an additional 30% open space availability following the nearshoring of product manufacturing for its customers within the Middle East. Soisa is now looking for further opportunities to provide additional integrated products for its business partners.

Soisa specialises in cabin upholstery, offering dress covers, cushions, curtains, carpets, insulation panels, acoustic panels, and VIP Seats.   Its services also include hydrographic printing and repairs of interior parts for Airlines and OEMs in the Middle East, North Africa, India, Europe and Asia. Its current customers include Emirates, FlyDubai, Etihad, Royal Brunei, and Safran Cabin in Thailand, among many others.
