TATV Newsround: Post-covid revival

Cape Town’s international airport is preparing for the post-Covid revival with Mark Maclean at the helm. The former operations manager who led the team through the redevelopment of the airport explains the plans to Robin Rabec and how the pandemic put its growth on halt.

But this week’s programme has a central focus on maintenance repair and overhaul, MRO.

Chuck Grieve, TATV’s MRO editor, is in the studio to talk through how disconnect between customs and government strategy in Nigeria has hammered aviation through a shortage of parts, but discovers from Sky Select’s CEO  Erkki Brakmann how there are real opportunities for airlines to take advantage through smart purchasing right now.

From India, Neelam Matthews, talks to the CEO of AAR Indamer about the venture’s explosive entry into the Indian MRO markets.

Rajeev Gupta explains how the new facility will be pushing out to Africa and the Gulf and has already picked up India’s largest domestic carrier as a launch customer.

Angie Bee delivers the news from TATV’s UK studio and Alan Peaford holds it all together.
