TATV Newsround: aviation news summary from MEASA region, 4th Feb '22

This week's rapid news roundup from around the MEASA region, brought to you by Alan Peaford, leads with Qatar Airways signing the largest ever freighter contract with Boeing as launch customer for the 777-8F.

But in amongst the order details the airline also added almost $7 billion for 737 Max 10 aircraft, the competitor to the Airbus 321neos. With Airbus having 'cancelled' Qatar's order for A321s does this mark a new era in the airline's relationships with the American OEM to the cost of the Europeans?
