MEBAA Show 2022 - Day one round-up

TATV correspondent Jill Stockbridge gives her take on booming business aviation scene as the MEBAA Show opens in Dubai.

As Gulfstream lights up the Middle East’s megacity with an impressive show at the Burj Khalifa, deals were being done at the show itself.

The industry returned to the MEBAA Show for the first time in four years and were not disappointed, with manufactures like Dassault and Bombardier investing in new facilities to support growing aircraft numbers.

Dassault’s investment in the Execujet MRO portfolio has seen a new facility nearing completion in Dubai while Bombardier is to build a new customer service centre in nearby Abu Dhabi.
