Following the launch of flights to Damascus in January 2025, with the addition of Aleppo flights, the number of destinations that Turkish Airlines serves in Syria has increased to two.

Turkish Airlines will operate round-trip flights between Istanbul Airport and Aleppo International Airport three days a week, and starting on August 19, Aleppo flights will be operated five times per week, and beginning September 1, they will be operated daily.

Turkish Airlines SVP Sales, Mahmut Yayla said: “Aleppo is one of the most important cities in the region with its historical and cultural richness. With the reopening of our Aleppo route, we aim to strengthen economic and social ties between the two countries. As Turkish Airlines, we continue to increase our flight connections while offering our guests more travel options.”
