EgyptAir Training Academy hosts environmental preservation training course
EgyptAir Training Academy has hosted an environmental preservation training course.
Within the framework of Egypt's 2030 strategy to achieve sustainable development and according to the vision of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and EgyptAir Holding Company to reduce carbon emissions resulting from aircraft engines to preserve the environment and confront the climate change effects, EgyptAir Training Academy has hosted the ICAO Carbon Offsetting & Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA) course.
The course was in coordination with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and was in line with the effective role of the Academy in supporting the aviation industry locally and globally by qualifying and raising the efficiency of the Aviation employees.
The training course tackled monitoring and reporting carbon emissions topics. All participants from EgyptAir Safety and Quality Sector, as well as the Academy's customers from Malaysia, Kenya, Ireland and India, successfully passed the course.
The Academy seeks to host more similar training courses in order to cover the local training needs and promote the marketing of these courses globally.
