Bahrain Air conducting cadet programme at JATS

JATS has announced that it has reached an agreement with Bahrain Air to continue conducting its fleet cadet training programme at JATS' QAIA facilities.

Under this programme, JATS will provide A320 type ratings for Bahrain Air’s 2nd officers. The first six Bahrain Air pilots enrolled will start their two-month training program on Sunday 15th January 2012. 

 Amer Fakhoury, JATS’ general manager, said: “We are looking forward to a long and lasting aviation training relationship with Bahrain Air and to continue adding value to its pilots.”

Bahrain Air began its pilot training programme at JATS at the end of 2007, and has since continued all its Airbus A320 training requirements for pilots, which included A320 simulator recurrent training, command upgrade courses for A320, type rating CCQ courses utilizing JATS ground school instructors, at JATS.  During this period, Bahrain Air has also undertaken many of its basic and recurrent courses for their cabin crew at JATS’ training facilities.

JATS’s training facilities combine 6 Full-Flight Simulators; 2 A320’s, A310, B767, B737NG and EMB 170/190, which provide complete training packages that offer a wide range of simulator and Computer Based Training (CBT) for cockpit crew, cabin crew and airline staff from the international airline community.
