Royal Jordanian plants 1,000 Trees on Earth Day

Royal Jordanian continues its environmental sustainability efforts by planting 1,000 trees in the Azraq Wetland Reserve on Earth Day.

The airline took park in the planting in cooperation with the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature.

This environmental initiative aims to preserve biodiversity, increase green spaces in Jordan, address climate change challenges, reduce carbon emissions, and support national efforts to preserve the environment, the sustainability of nature reserves and local communities, all of which are in line with Royal Jordanian's social responsibility and sustainability policies. A number of Royal Jordanian volunteers participated in this campaign by planting trees that are suitable for the nature of the Azraq Reserve.

Royal Jordanian is also committed to conducting all its operations in a sustainable and responsible manner to reduce its environmental footprint and comply with all global laws to reduce the impact of air operations on the environment. The airline continues its efforts to integrate environmental sustainability into its plans and strategy through a process of renewing the entire fleet and introducing environmentally friendly aircraft, improving fuel efficiency, reducing noise and waste, and using hazardous materials, in addition to raising awareness and enhancing employee training in this field.
