Wataniya Airways strengthen its commercial team and look at a holiday sector

Wataniya Airways, Kuwait's premium service airline, has signalled its aim to develop services in the holiday and leisure sector with the appointment of a holidays product manager.

Mark Senior has been appointed to the Commercial Team and plans to create the infrastructure and operations for the future Wataniya Holidays brand to allow the airline to expand its services and products specifically tailored for the leisure traveller.

Senior brings more than 20 years of experience in the travel and tourism marketing sector, working in various areas of the world, including the United Kingdom, Bahrain, Qatar and UAE.   

Wataniya's has also made other changes within its staff including naming Joe Ghazal as its director of marketing, and appointed Charles Johnson, previously associated with Virgin Group brands, as director of product. And former Royal Jordanian Airlines executive Mahmoud Al Azzam has been named as the new international sales director.
