Turkish extends push into Africa
Turkish Airlines is to expand its push into Africa with three new services to Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Egyptian Red Sea resort of Sharm El Sheikh, and Sabha in Libya.

The four times weekly Istanbul Atatürk-Kinshasa service will begin on August 27, followed by the three weekly Istanbul-Sabha service on September 2.
On October 9, Turkish will commence flights to Sharm El Sheikh from Istanbul with four fights a week.
Another new destination for Turkish has also been announced this week. It plans to begin five times a week flights to the Maldives from November 24.
