Sudan Airways and Elaf sign GSA agreement

The GSA agreement signing ceremony was held in the Elaf Jeddah hotel at the Red Sea Mall on 27th June, 2011 and the agreement was signed by Al Obaid Fadl Al Moula, the general manager of Sudan Airways and Sheikh Ziyad Ahmed Bin Mahfouz, the president of Elaf Group.
The signing ceremony was attended by Tarek Nabulsi, deputy ceo of Elaf Group, Ahmad El Bayat, general manager of Elaf Travel & Tourism, Osman Yousif Mohammad, commercial director and Adil Siddig Nemir, regional manager of Sudan Airways.
Sudan Airways was founded in 1946 and its operations commenced in July of the following year. Currently, Sudan Airways flies to 24 international destinations which include daily flights to Jeddah and thrice weekly flights to Riyadh.
Elaf’s 30 years of experience in the international travel industry - especially with four major GSA agreements with Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Garuda Indonesia for the western region of Saudi Arabia, Royal Brunei Airlines and Ariana Afghan Airlines for the Saudi Arabia - should help Sudan Airways to further increase its market share and generate more revenue from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
