The company’s VIP terminal or FBO at Abu Dhabi International Airport handled, in just three days, the same number of movements that occur on average over a month.

“Being the first FBO in Abu Dhabi, we are well versed in delivering our renowned high quality service while operating under pressure,” said Shane O’Hare, president and CEO of the Abu Dhabi-headquartered international luxury flight services company.

“This year there was increased competition from other VIP terminals around the UAE but we are delighted that we continued to be the FBO of choice with volume of traffic through our terminal remaining at the same level as previous years,” he added.

“Being in such close proximity to the Yas Marina circuit - five minutes by helicopter transfer or eight minutes by limousine, was a big plus,” said O’Hare. “With priority slots given to F1 visitors, within just fifteen minutes of the podium ceremony concluding, we had our first departure and within two hours in excess of 20 aircraft also left.

"The FBO is a fully integrated operation and functions as a ‘mini airport’ with dedicated teams even including Police, Customs and Immigration, helping to set it apart from other competitors. All of these services helped smooth every aspect of the departures process."
