Emirates opens door for improved links to West Africa

Under the new agreement, customers will be able to purchase joint Emirates-Arik Air itineraries, enabling them to connect seamlessly from Emirates’ double daily services to Lagos onto the Arik network.
Arik is Nigeria’s largest domestic airline and operates a fleet of 23 state-of-the art regional, medium haul and long haul aircraft. The airline currently serves 30 airports across Nigeria as well as Accra (Ghana), Banjul (Gambia), Cotonou (Benin), Dakar (Senegal), Freetown (Sierra Leone), Monrovia (Liberia), London Heathrow (UK), Johannesburg (South Africa) and New York JFK (USA).
Customers will also enjoy a range of added benefits, including special fares and an extra 10kg baggage allowance for Economy Class passengers connecting to points across Nigeria and beyond on Arik Air.
