EgyptAir to resume flights to Mumbai in May

EgyptAir will resume its direct flights to Mumbai next May.

This is a part of the national carrier's role in expanding its route network and supporting the tourism movement through the return of air traffic to its normal operating rates to many destinations that were suspended before the COVID-19 and working to increase the movement of trade and economic exchange.

“The ariline has developed an ambitious plan to operate its flights to high-traffic cities and connect them to EGYPTAIR's network. The company will resume its direct flight between Cairo and Mumbai on May 2nd, 2022, with a frequency of four flights per week, due to the importance of this route and in order to enhance its existence in the promising Asian markets " said Amr Abu El-Enein, Chairman and CEO of EgyptAir Holding Company. 

He added that EgyptAir flights to Mumbai will be operated using the Boeing B737-800 aircraft. The company resumed this route in order to strengthen its network to benefit its travellers to Cairo and its customers who travel via Cairo International Airport as well.
