Rwandair CEO named as first woman to chair IATA board
RwandAir CEO Yvonne Manzi Makolo will become the first woman to serve as chairman of the IATA Board of Governors when she takes over next year.

Makolo will assume the role at the next AGM which will take place in Istanbul on on 4-6 June 2023, at the event hosted by Pegasus Airlines.
The announcement was made at the 2022 AGM which is currently taking place in Doha, Qatar.
