Horizon to host career event

It will highlight the Higher Diploma in Aviation Business Administration, which it says is open to all who have ambitions to pursue a career in aviation. This new addition to Horizon’s training portfolio is also designed for pilots who hold a Commercial Pilot License (CPL). This programme can support their flying credentials with professional qualifications.

“Horizon is the only Academy in the region to receive accreditation to offer the Higher Diploma programme and is especially valuable to those individuals who later want to move from flying to management,” according to the Academy’s General Manager, Mohammed Humaidan Al Zaabi.

The inaugural semester of the Higher Diploma is set to commence on August 23, and registrations are now open.

The Higher Diploma Program accredited by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education can help candidates fast track to a bachelor’s degree at select universities overseas, while improving job prospects in the ever growing aviation industry, it said.

“The UAE aviation industry in particular will benefit, as qualified aviation professionals will support and sustain the long term growth planned for the industry,” Al Zaabi said.
