Flydubai appoints Mukesh Sodani as new CFO

Working alongside flydubai's chief operating officer, Ken Gile, and Hamad Obaidalla, the airline's chief commercial officer, Sodani will be an integral part of the airline's future growth strategy as it expands its fleet to meet the needs of a growing network.

Mr. Sodani, joined flydubai following a stint as CFO of a real estate conglomerate in Dubai but also has 15 years' experience in the airline industry, rising to the position of vice president aircraft financing at Emirates. During that time, he was part of the team tasked with raising more than $6bn through diversified funding sources, as well as negotiating aircraft acquisitions and leasing valued at more than $30bn.
