This identity roll-out marks a new step in preparations to establish an industry-leading maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) capability for engine nacelles on jetliners operated throughout the Middle East.

AMES will establish its technical base at Dubai’s Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza) in the United Arab Emirates, with the goal of offering customers a full range of services for the sizable fleets of Airbus A320s, A330s, A340-500/600s, A380s and Boeing 777s in the Middle East market.

The 50/50 AMES joint venture brings together the expertise of Air France Industries as a top provider of MRO services with Aircelle’s capabilities as a leading original equipment manufacturer of small, medium and large engine nacelles.

In addition to unveiling its new identity, AMES also announced the naming of Antoine Succar as the joint venture’s General Manager, and François Vitti as the Manager of Operations and Customer Support.
