MEBA2012: MEBA stop for PC-12NG air taxi
Pilatus and its authorised and exclusive distributor for the Pilatus PC-12NG, AMAC Aerospace (stand No 622/chalet A20), are showcasing the air taxi capabilities of this versatile turboprop aircraft during MEBA.

The PC-12NG is an enhanced and improved version of the basic PC-12, with a Honeywell APEX glass cockpit, redesigned winglets and a more powerful Pratt & Whitney PT6A-67P engine giving an increased maximum cruise speed of 280kt and better climb performance.
It combines this performance with real short field take-off capability and genuine ‘land anywhere’ characteristics – able to operate from dirt, grass and gravel.
The six-seat PC-12NG is also fitted with a cargo door with a height of 4ft 4in and a width of 4ft 5in, giving a useful light cargo capability, and allowing it to operate as an air ambulance, or in a variety of special mission roles.
The aircraft was officially launched during the 2007 NBAA exhibition and AMAC is marketing the high-speed nine-passenger turboprop in the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, and in Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Turkey and Yemen.
AMAC will be supporting maintenance of the PC-12 from its newly inaugurated AMAC Turkey facility at Ataturk Airport, Istanbul, where the company has 1,200sqm of shop floor space and a three-storey sales and service centre, including 300sqm of office space.
