MRO-ME: TS&S signs parts repair pact with MTU for the V2500 engine

Abdul Khaliq Saeed, CEO of TS&S –, a subsidiary of Mubadala – said: “Today’s partnership with MTU Maintenance marks a significant move for us as we continue to offer the only specialised IAE approved maintenance repair and service centre  in the MENA region. Partnerships with top-tier companies from around the world, such as MTU Maintenance, help us consistently ensure this level of service.”
The IAE V2500 is a two-shaft high-bypass turbofan engine which powers the Airbus A320 family.
"MTU Maintenance is the largest provider of V2500 MRO services worldwide and we are delighted to collaborate with TS&S Aerospace and support them with our extensive parts repair experience," said Frank Haberkamp, vice president repair services for MTU.
Saeed said the new agreement further demonstrates TS&S’s expanding service line and capability offering, from its state-of-the-art facility located at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
