MENA Aerospace joint venture growing business from Bahrain

Bahrain's MENA Aerospace Enterprises announced today that its avionics and aircraft maintenance division, SA MENA Avionics has been selected to supply and install specialized communication equipment on nearly two hundred aircraft based in the region and operated by an unnamed country. The contract's scope of work includes modification, certification and commissioning work, and will require almost one year to complete.

SA MENA operates from its purpose-built facility at the Bahrain International Airport. It has both airside and landside access. The company is a joint venture between MENA Aerospace and Scandinavian Avionics  based in Billund, Denmark.

SA MENA Avionics also provides aeronautical training. Its current catalogue of approved courses contains over 150 training programs. Training is provided to local and international aviation companies and schools. SA MENA Avionics recently opened a service centre to service and recondition aircraft batteries. I

n addition to being a dealer for most aviation vendors,  SA MENA Avionics  has been appointed by Honeywell as its dealer and approved service centre for the Middle East and North Africa. SA MENA Avionics is an EASA Part 145 & 147, FAA, PCA/GACA and BCAA approved MRO which specializes in the installation, maintenance and repair of avionic and electronic systems on board aircraft.
