Kartoum to start MRO services from Europe Aviation

The French independent MRO provider Europe Aviation has obtained EASA PART 145 approval to perform Airbus A320 and A330 aircraft line maintenance at Khartoum airport in Sudan. It will soon extend its capabilities to Boeing B737 and B777 aircraft in Khartoum.

The Paris-based company says this is the next step in the development of a worldwide maintenance network with a very important presence in Africa and the Middle East.

Europe Aviation already has maintenance bases in Paris Orly, Paris CDG, Marseille, Lyon, Chateauroux, Casablanca, Algiers, Abidjan, Ouagadougou and is also constructing  a heavy maintenance hangar in Fujairah.

The company,  which made the announcement at the Bahrain Air Show today said there are quite a few other destinations where Europe Aviation is intending to settle to offering line maintenance services in the region.
