GATCO expands MRO business to Jeddah

Bahrain's Gulf Aviation Technology Company (GATCO) has expanded its growing business with the addition of a line maintenance station at Jeddah's King Abdul-Aziz Airport in Saudi Arabia.

The EASA approved Part 145 company -  part of the Horizon group – announced its intention to begin operations in the Kingdom, last November. The company opened the project on time and is now  looking at doubling its presence across the region before the end of 2013.

GATCO provides technical services for different capabilities such as Airbus A320, Embraer 170/190 as well as for Boeing 737NG/747/757/767/777 and Airbus A300/ A310/ A330/A340/A380.

The range of services offered in the new line maintenance stations will extend to on-call maintenance, scheduled, overnight, pre-flight, daily, weekly checks and component replacements, inspections and repairs. The line maintenance support will also include full 24/7 AOG services.
