First E190 landing gear replacement undertaken by Mid East MRO provider
Saudi airline, NAS Air, selected Egyptair Maintenance and Engineering to perform its first replacement of the Embraer E-190 main landing gear - becoming the first MRO provider in the region to complete an E190 landing gear change
Egyptair Maintenance and Engineering invited Liebherr’s representative Mr. Kai-uwe Klunker to attend the replacement process of the right hand main landing gear. The Liebherr representative studied the process of replacement and praised the facilities of Egyptair Maintenance & Engineering and its personnel experience throughout the whole work package.
The Cairo-based MRO completed the task within 12 Hrs.
