Embraer meets EgyptAir Maintenance & Engineering to highlight E-jets MRO work

Embraer's search for a quality MRO provider for its growing number of E-jets operating in the Middle East and North Africa may be over.

A high delegate from the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer visited the EgyptAir Maintenance and Engineering facility in Cairo this week.

An official statement by the Egyptian MRO provider said the meeting was to “enhance all means of co-operation between the two companies in the field of providing the technical service for the companies operating Embraer aircraft in the Middle East and Africa region.”

The E-Jets are currently working with NAS in Saudi Arabia, EgyptAir Express, Gulf Air and soon, Oman Air.

Embraer delegates included the Business Development and contracts Manager Customer services- Airlines Market Europe, Middle East & Africa and Business Development and Project Manager Customer services- Airlines Market Europe, Middle East & Africa as well as Customer Support Coordinator Maintenance Support Europe, Middle East & Africa.

The delegates were accompanied by Engineer Hisham Naser, Quality Assurance Director, in a facility tour where they visited the company's sites

Embraer’s interest in the EgyptAir operation follows the recent achievement of changing the main landing gear for NAS Air’s E-190 aircraft .
