EGYPTAIR M&E win NAS Air contract

EGYPTAR M&E has won the contract from NAS Air for heavy maintenance checks for a number of aircraft types A320 & E-190.

EGYPTAR M&E won this bidding as the best MRO for the second year in a row, where the main bidders that shared in this bidding were prominent MRO Service Providers from Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

“We were selected by NAS Air as we managed to implement the required tasks included in the previous contract efficiently and timely,” said Said El Makkawy, EGYPTAR M&E Chairman & CEO.  “The senior managers of NAS Air conducted several meetings with their counterparts in EGYPTAR M&E to evaluate the quality and safety procedures and their comptability with the international standards & regulations; “EGYPTAR M&E is proud to gain once again the trust of NAS Air “, he added.

The bidding includes 14 aircraft divided into 8 A320 and 6 E-190. Maintenance checks will start in mid-February till the end of the year 2012.
