EgyptAir Maintenance and Engineering renew EASA approval
EgyptAir Maintenance and Engineering has announced it has successfully renewed its EASA Part 145 approval.

This announcement accompanies the addition of a number of new aircraft types to EgyptAir’s current capabilities: B757-200/300, B767-200/300, Airbus A330-200/300 powered by GE CF6 and Embraer E190/195. The company says that the new aircraft types will serve the EgyptAir fleet, as well as attracting more customers operating different aircraft types.
In a statement, Hussein Massoud, chairman and CEO of EgyptAir Holding company said, "EASA inspectors have conducted extensive audit on all the company’s activities and related facilities in line maintenance, base maintenance, overhaul workshops and engine workshops."
The audit was carried out `at Cairo, Sharm El Sheikh and Dubai stations."
