A number of Challenger aircraft are now in operation from Doha - led by the Qatar Executive, part of Qatar Airlines group - and Lufthansa said at EBACE that a " first - undisclosed - customer from Qatar has
already signed a maintenance agreement with LBAS and will use LBAS' services when flying to Europe.'

From a simple tyre change to a 96-month inspection, private and commercial operators can schedule a complete range of services from LBAS to meet their aircraft maintenance requirements. In addition,
interior modifications, including avionics and services on the engines can be performed - the latter in cooperation with Lufthansa Technik's CF-34 specialist, AERO Alzey.

Since the launch of the company in 1997, approximately 5,000 work orders on Challenger 604/605 aircraft have been performed, making LBAS one of the maintenance companies with the highest experience on this type of
aircraft in Europe.

Andreas Kaden, Managing Director, LBAS, stated, "Adding the new Qatar approval underscores LBAS' goal to serve all customers in the Middle East relating to their priorities regarding regulatory support."

LBAS is based at Berlin-Schoenefeld airport in Germany, and was formedas a joint venture between Lufthansa Technik and Bombardier Aerospace ,
