EBACE: First B777 inspection for Mid East customer gives AMAC reasons to smile
AMAC Aerospace is at EBACE today celebrating the completion of its first wide body inspection at its state-of-the-art headquarters at EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg.

The AMAC maintenance team performed the 12 year inspection on the B777-200 aircraft at its third new wide body hangar, and delivered the aircraft to a private customer in the Middle East on time, within budget and to the highest quality standard despite a number of unforeseen technical findings.
Following the inspection, Bernd Schramm COO, said: “AMAC Aerospace’s expertise coupled with on-time delivery exceeded expectations. We are delighted with the performance.”

The company is encouraging aircraft owners and operators to consider its full range of expertise and craftsmanship when selecting a partner for refurbishment and maintenance options. AMAC Aerospace is currently completing a Boeing 777 and 747-8i both for Middle Eastern clients and has also taken on an Airbus A340 for maintenance and refurbishment. It is also currently working on several bids for other narrow and wide body aircraft.
AMAC was granted European EASA Part 145 approval to undertake heavy base maintenance on the Airbus A330 and A340 Series and Boeing B747-400 and B747-8 Series in September 2012. The company can now accept scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities for airframe and powerplants.
