Buraq Air adds two more 737 to the A J Walter PBH support

Libyan carrier Buraq Air has again selected A J Walter Aviation to provide power-by-the-hour (PBH) support for an additional two B737- 400 aircraft in its fleet. This three year deal is additional to the airline's two B737-800 aircraft already supported by the UK firm.

Founded in 2001, Buraq Air was the first private airline in Libya based at Tripoli International Airport with scheduled services to Europe, North Africa and the Middle-East. It also operates passenger and cargo charter services and flights in support of the oil industry.

A spokeman for AJ Walter said the new contract underlines the “outstanding value for money and excellent customer service “ embodied within AJW PBH arrangements. The company provides a high quality tracking service with its partners DHL, FEDEX and B&H and it is also now able to provide unparalleled visibility with its new tailored web portal, providing direct and live access to current order status.

AJW currently serves a global customer base of more than 700 airlines with more than350 aircraft under contract.
