AFI KLM E&M to support Air Mauritius

The long-term contract covers a total of six aircraft, the first two of which will be delivered this year.

In addition to pool access and repairs, the contract covers the deployment of a Main Base Kit to meet the carrier’s local requirements at its base at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport. 

The airline will also be able to tap into the AFI KLM E&M pool of nacelles, which are repaired at the Group’s ultra-modern Helios aero structures facility at Paris-CDG.

AFI KLM E&M will provide all-round, long-term support during the new aircraft’s entry into service by sharing its expertise and experience as an MRO/airline supporting the latest addition to the Airbus family. This includes change-management training, immersion training for Air Mauritius personnel at Air France KLM facilities in Paris, and on-job training for Mauritius-based certifying engineers. As part of the support provided, AFI KLM E&M will implement its PROGNOS predictive maintenance services.
