A J Walter wins spares contracts from Iraq and Jordan

A J Walter Aviation, the complete aircraft spares support specialist, has been selected as a preferred supplier by the airline Jordan Aviation and by the Hajj Commission of Iraq operating its aircraft under Amman's Royal Falcon Airlines.

Jordan Aviation has chosen AJW to manage the repair requirements for its mixed fleet of thirteen narrow and wide body Airbus and Boeing aircraft.  

UK-based AJW is able to offer first class reliability and availability with guaranteed turn times backed by exchange through a streamlined vendor supply chain of OEM, airline and third party workshops.  The company invests more than $100m annually on around 24,000 individual repair orders.  

Jordan Aviation was established in 2000 when it launched services from Amman as the first privately owned charter airline in Jordan. It currently has over 400 employees and operates scheduled services throughout the Arabian Gulf and North Africa.

The Hajj Commission has signed a power-by-the-hour agreement with AJW for its two B767-300 aircraft operated by Royal Falcon, including a consigned home base kit.  AJW offers one of the most comprehensive and flexible PBH programmes in the industry which reflects the unique financial and logistical framework of individual operators.  AJW can even offer support for all parts within all ATA Chapters with no restrictions and no limitations.  The Hajj Commission is the responsible Ministry in Iraq for transporting Iraqi pilgrims and Umrah Iraqi nationals to Saudi Arabia during the religious Islamic season.
