From a standing start, this Air Partner plc division now supports 100 oil companies at 3,000 airports worldwide from Jersey, UK, to Hong Kong International, including Nairobi and Johannesburg airports in Africa. It is also the contingency refueling provider for three international flag carriers at 20 remote locations.

Fuel Solutions Manager Paul Walker attended Routes as Air Partner looks to grow its commercial airline customer base.

“Routes Africa is an unrivalled route development platform where airlines and airports do business face to face.  We were right there when they agreed their costing/route analysis, so this was a superb networking opportunity for us,” he said.

Air Partner Fuel specialises in reselling Jet A-1 kerosene at competitive rates that reflect market conditions and are based on Platts data. It works with oil companies worldwide to provide a spot price refuelling facility on request, offers all-inclusive prices for simplistic contracting terms, negotiates special contracts to meet precise volume need and actively participates in fuel tender processes with clients across all aviation sectors.

Together with the Air Partner Group’s 24/7 Operations centre, which supports it 20 offices worldwide - including Dubai - the Fuel division complements the company’s Commercial Jets, Private Jets and Freight aircraft broking operations as well as its Emergency Planning and  Sub-Charter services.

Now in its 5th year, Routes Africa is the region's annual air service development forum.  This year the event was hosted by Sikhuphe International Airport.
